Gig workers represent a critical piece of the gig economy. Without you, the big gig corporations could not operate, let alone make HUGE profits. Yet they seem to forget this. They are not treating you with the respect you deserve and paying you what you have earned.
Most gig workers operate as ‘individuals’. Independent Contractors, in fact. And this makes it difficult for your voice to be heard.
The Drivers' Rights Movement was formed to help gig workers unite, and share a collective voice. We are committed to ensuring that independent Contractors are treated like they should be; INDEPENDENT of the confines of an employee agreement. Free to use the tools they want to run their business. Free to enjoy an INTEROPERABLE gig economy. Free to dictate which work they CHOOSE to accept. Privy to ALL the information.
We are seeing real progress across the United States via legislative change BECAUSE people are demanding it. Now is the time for you to stand with the rest of the gig community to demand and drive real change.
